Step 1: Face Outline
Draw a curved line at the bottom that looks like a deep plate. At the top of each side, draw a little V, then coming out from it draw a short line going up and inward.
Step 2: Face Features
Draw 2 large circles for the eyes, leaving a small circle in each to show the light reflection. Add 2 small curved lines to each eye for the eyelashes.
For the nose and mouth, draw 2 half circles facing upwards attached to each other, and another half circle facing upward at the bottom.
Step 3: Ears and The Bottom of The Hat
Draw a curved line covering the top of the head and extending a little outwards on both sides. Connect this line to the face from both sides. On each side draw a curved line going upwards to meet the ears.
Draw triangular shapes for the ears with a line in each for more details.
Step 4: The Top of The Hat
Draw 2 lines connecting the ears to make the ribbon on the hat. Then draw a large cone shape to make the top of the witch's hat.
Step 5: The Collar of The Cloak
Draw a V shape under the face right in the middle to make the neckline. Then draw the folds of the collar and the shoulder with a few curved lines as shown.
Step 6: Arms
For the first arm on the right side, draw a line coming down from the shoulder with a tiny crease in the middle of it, then draw another line next to it to complete the arm. Draw the folds at the end of the sleeve and the hand coming out from it as shown.
For the other arm, again draw a line coming down from the shoulder, and another line next to it, just this time make the lines shorter and closer to each other.
Step 7: The Bottom of The Cloak and The Feet
Draw the bottom of the cloak with wavy lines as shown. At the bottom, draw 2 half ovals for the feet coming out from under the cloak as shown.
Step 8: The BroomStick
Draw 2 long straight lines going behind the bottom of the cloak and the kitty's hand as shown. Close the stick on both ends and decorate it with a few stripes as shown.
Step 9: The Broom Head and Bristles
Draw an incomplete circle around the left end of the broomstick, then draw the shape of a fire coming out of it.
Step 10: The Tail
Again, draw the shape of a fire but this time coming out from behind the cat, behind the left arm and knee area to make the tail of the kitty.
Congratulations, now you can draw a cute kitty witch.
Now, grab the colours of your choice and start painting your drawing, I am sure it will be outstanding.
Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while colouring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without colour as shown in the coloured picture.
Tip: If you are using coloured pencil and would like to achieve a 3D effect as the one in my drawing, pick a darker shade for the colour you pick and go over some parts of the drawing with this darker shade as shown in the final picture, and try to blend the two colours together well on paper by easing the pressure on the pencil tip as you go towards the lighter parts.
