Step 1: The Head
Draw a semicircle for the head, then extend the 2 ends of the semicircle slightly to the right.
Step 2: Arms And Hands
Draw an incomplete oval shape for the hand coming out from the left side of the head, then draw a small curved line coming out from it going in the direction of the body to resemble the arm. Around the middle of the bottom part of the head slightly to the right draw another arm similar to the first one.
Step 3: Body
Draw a line coming down from each side of the head going a little to the right to make the flowy body of the ghost.
Step 4: The Bottom Of The Body
Draw a few curved wavy lines connecting both ends of the body to resemble the bottom part of the ghost's flowy body.
Step 5: Face Features
For the eyes, draw 2 small curved lines, on each of them draw an incomplete oval shape resting on the line, leaving 2 white spots in each eye to show light reflection and make it even more cute.
For the mouth, draw a small curved line in between the 2 eyes, then draw an inverted horn shape coming down from this line, to make a cute laughing mouth. Add a tongue inside the mouth as shown.
Step 6: Holes
Draw a few small oval shapes of different sizes on the bottom of the ghost's body to resemble creepy holes on his body.
Congratulations, now you can draw a cute little ghost.
Now, grab the colors of your choice and start painting your drawing, I am sure it will be outstanding.
Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without color or use an eraser to erase a few lines or spots as shown in the colored picture.
Tip: If you are using colored pencil and would like to achieve a 3D effect as the one in my drawing, pick a darker shade for the color you pick and go over some parts of the drawing with this darker shade as shown in the final picture, and try to blend the two colors together well on paper by easing the pressure on the pencil tip as you go towards the lighter parts.
