Step 1: Top of The Head and Ears
Draw a curved line for the top of the head and a triangular shape on each side for the ears.
Step 2: Sides
Draw a curved line coming down form the right ear, and another longer wavy line coming down from the left ear, with more waves at its end.
Step 3: The Rest of The Ghost's Body
Draw a wavy line attached to the line on the left and going up but leaving a small gap on the right side of the body to draw the arm later.
Step 4: An Arm
Near the gap left before, draw an incomplete bean shape to make the arm of the cat ghost with a couple of tiny curves at the end for the nails. Then draw a curved line to connect the arm to the lower part of the gap.
Step 5: The Other Arm
Draw 2 curved lines for the arm ending with an incomplete circle with a couple of tiny curves for the nails.
Step 6: Face Features
Draw 2 large circles for the eyes with a couple of white circles inside each of them for the light reflection.
Draw a small inverted triangle for the nose and a couple of curved lines for the mouth coming down from the nose. Finally draw the whiskers on each side of the mouth.
Congratulations, now you can draw a cat's ghost
Now, grab the colors of your choice and start painting your drawing, I am sure it will be outstanding.
Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without color as shown in the colored picture.
Tip: If you are using colored pencil and would like to achieve a 3D effect as the one in my drawing, pick a darker shade for the color you pick and go over some parts of the drawing with this darker shade as shown in the final picture, and try to blend the two colors together well on paper by easing the pressure on the pencil tip as you go towards the lighter parts.
