Step 1: The body of the rocket
Draw 2 curved diagonal lines meeting at the top making a cone shape.
Step 2: Decorating the body
Decorate the body of the rocket with three curved lines going horizontally along the length of the body till the bottom.
Step 3: The exhaust flames
Draw a zigzag cone shape for the flames coming down from the bottom of the rocket as shown. Draw a small curved line on each side of the flame connected to the rocket to make the opening from which the flames are coming out.
Step 4: The top fin
Draw the top fin by drawing a cylindrical shape at the bottom of the rocket extending through the flames as well. Draw it thick at the top and thinner at the bottom.
Step 5: The side fins
Draw the side fins by drawing a triangular shape curving at the tip, attached to each side of the rocket. Draw another curved line mirroring the bottom line of the fin to make it look 3D.
Step 6: The window and decoration
Draw a circle in the middle of the rocket to make a window, then make a small curved line at the bottom of this circle as shown to make it look 3D.
Decorate the window and the side of the rocket with some lines to show reflection over the smooth surface.
Congratulations, now you can draw a rocket.
Now, grab the colors of your choice and give some color to your masterpiece.
Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without color as shown in the colored picture.
