Step 1: The Pumpkin Outline

Draw the outline of the pumpkin using curved lines as shown, a couple on each side. Then connect them with a semicircle at the bottom of the pumpkin.

Step 2: Face Features

For evil eyes, draw 2 lines going down towards the center of the pumpkin, and going up towards the outer side of the pumpkin, then finish each eye by drawing a semi circle connected to this line.

For the nose, draw a triangle between the eyes.

For the mouth, draw 2 curved lines connected together at the corner, but each line having half a square shaped grooves for a more scary effect.

Add a couple more curved lines to the texture of the pumpkin intersecting the face features as shown.

Step 3: The Puppy's Mouth and Nose

Draw a small curved line connecting the innermost 2 curved lines on the pumpkin for the lower part of the mouth. Draw an inverted triangle for the nose, then draw 2 lines coming down from it then going outwards then up and inwards again meeting each other above the nose to make the upper part of the mouth.

Step 4: Face And Eyes

Draw a wavy line coming out from each side of the mouth going upwards as shown, then draw a curved line to make the top of the head. You can leave the lines unconnected as shown or connect them if you want, both ways will be perfectly fine.

For the eyes, draw 2 circles with a pointed corner towards the middle of the face, leaving 2 white spots in each eye to show light reflection.

Step 5: Ears

Draw an irregular triangular shape as shown, one on each side of the top of the head. Draw another similar smaller one inside each ear for more details.

Step 6: Paws

Draw an oval shape on each side of the face, near the puppy's cheeks on top of the pumpkin as shown. Add 2 tiny curved lines on the end of each paw to resemble the puppy's digits.
