Welcome to kiddy can draw, fun step by step drawing tutorial. Today we are going to draw Frankenstein's scary face for Halloween.
So, grab a piece of paper and a pencil or a marker, and let's start drawing.
Step 1: Face Outline
Draw 2 straight lines going down, then at the end of each one draw a semicircle for the ear. Draw another 2 straight lines coming down from the ears and connected together with a horizontal line for the chin.
Step 2: Stitches and Screws
Draw a horizontal line connecting the face near the top then decorate it with small vertical lines to make a long stitch line along his face. Make another smaller stitch line coming out from the left side of the face going down just a little bit.
Draw an incomplete curved square shape on each side of the face to make the screws.
Step 3: Eyes
Draw a curved line facing down on each side of the face for the eyelids, then draw another curved line under each one facing up, connect to it half a circle for the eye itself. Draw another half a circle inside for the iris leaving a small white spot for the light reflection.
Step 4: Nose and Mouth
Draw half a circle facing down for the nose.
Draw 2 curved lines connected together at the corner for the mouth, then draw a horizontal line in between having small vertical lines for the teeth.
Step 5: Hair
Using a pencil draw a narrow oval shape above his head to make an outline for yourself to draw the hair spikes. Draw the hair along this oval shape as a zigzag line. Erase the outline after you are finished.
Step 6: Decorate
Decorate the face with some small curved lines around the mouth to show wrinkles and a couple inside each ear for more details.
Congratulations, now you can draw Frankenstein's face.
Now, grab the colors of your choice and start painting your drawing, I am sure it will be outstanding.
Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without color as shown in the colored picture.
Tip: If you are using colored pencil and would like to achieve a 3D effect as the one in my drawing, pick a darker shade for the color you pick and go over some parts of the drawing with this darker shade as shown in the final picture, and try to blend the two colors together well on paper by easing the pressure on the pencil tip as you go towards the lighter parts.
