Step 1: The Cupcake Outline

Draw one curved line at the bottom, then draw a straight line coming up from each end going slightly outwards.

Step 2: Face Features

Draw 2 large circles for the eyes leaving a small white circle inside each of them to show light reflection. Draw eyelashes as small curved lines as shown. Draw a curved line between the eyes for the mouth.

Step 3: First Layer Of The Icing

Draw a half an oval shape on top of the cupcake lining.

Step 4: The Bottom Of The Witch Hat

Draw a zigzag line as shown for the bottom of the hat.

Step 5: The Leather Belt Of The Hat

Draw an incomplete rectangle on each side for the belt, join both sides in the middle with a square shape for the buckle as shown.

Step 6: The Top Of The Hat and The Top Of The Witch’s Cane

Draw 2 lines coming out from the side of the cupcake ending with a swirl shape for the top of the cane.

Congratulations, now you can draw a witch hat cupcake.

Now, grab the colors of your choice and start painting your drawing, I am sure it will be outstanding.

Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line or sometimes circles without color or use an eraser to erase a few lines or spots if you are using colored pencils as shown in the colored picture.

Tip: If you are using colored pencil and would like to achieve a 3D effect as the one in my drawing, pick a darker shade for the color you pick and go over some parts of the drawing with this darker shade as shown in the final picture, and try to blend the two colors together well on paper by easing the pressure on the pencil tip as you go towards the lighter parts.
