Step 1: Top of the pumpkin with ears

Draw 2 incomplete triangles for the 2 ears (our pumpkin today has ears!!), then connect them with a zigzag line for the top of the pumpkin with a little crack in the middle as shown. Draw a smaller triangle inside one of the ears for more depth as shown.

Step 2: The thickness of the pumpkin

Draw a line going right on top of the lines drawn in the previous step to make the thickness of the pumpkin. Then draw 2 semicircles on each sides to make the sides of the pumpkin.

Step 3: The hidden part of the pumpkin

Draw 2 lines in between the 2 ears, one going on top of the other, connected to the lower part with another crack.

Step 4: Face features

Draw big eyes, big circle with a smaller one inside that will be left white as a highlight. Draw eyelashes.

Draw the nose and the mouth as shown.

Step 5: The middle of the pumpkin

Draw a U shape intersecting the eyes to make the middle part of the pumpkin.

Step 6: The outline

Draw 2 lines, one on each side, coming down from the top of the pumpkin connecting with the bottom of the middle part as shown.
