How To Draw a Cute Unicorn | Step By Step Guide

Welcome to kiddy can draw, fun step by step drawing tutorial. Today we are going to draw a cute unicorn.

So, grab a piece of paper and a pencil or a marker, and let's start drawing.

Step 1: The Horn And The Ear

We’ll start by drawing the horn and decorate it with some lines.

Then we’ll draw the ear next to the horn leaving a small space in between. The ear will look like a leaf. Draw a line inside the ear.

Step 2: The Bangs

Now, we are going to draw the bangs, by drawing a small curved line in between the horn and the ear, then a line coming down from the bottom of the ear, then going up again ending with a twist and connecting to the horn on the other side. Then, above this strand of hair, we are going to draw 2 strands partially hidden behind that first one, one on each side of the horn.

Step 3: The Face

Under the bangs, draw a letter C, a little tilted so that it will be looking slightly upwards. Inside the face, draw a tiny line for the nose, a bigger one for the mouth, and a half circle for the eye with two tiny eyelashes.

Step 4: The Hair

Now, we are going to draw the hair coming out from behind the ear, we are going to draw three strands, so after drawing the first one, we’ll draw another one partially hidden behind it, then a third one also partially hidden.

Step 5: The Body And The Legs

Draw a curved line coming down from the lower part of the face, Draw a leg attached to this line, it looks like a bended letter U. Then draw a curved line that is going to be the belly, and connect another leg to the end of that line. Draw another two legs, each one is partially hidden behind the ones we made previously. Decorate the legs with a line on each to make the hooves.

Step 6: The Tail And Decoration

Finish the body of the unicorn with a curved line connecting the back leg and the hair. Then start drawing the tail. It will look like the hair of the unicorn, we’ll draw a curved line going down from behind, ending with a twist and connecting to the body again near the back leg. Then we’ll decorate the tail with a line in the middle, and a half circle. 

Finally, decorate the body of the unicorn with a heart, or whatever you prefer to draw.

Magical, now you can draw a cute unicorn.

Tip: To show light reflection on any surface while coloring, leave a small line without color.

Tip: To achieve a 3D effect, pick a darker shade and go over some parts of the drawing.
